The Spiral Adjustable Support Stand PN: SAS114 is to be used with the Spiral Contractometer.
The Spiral Adjustable Support Stand (actual size 8 x 9.25 x 11 inches, expands up to 16.5 inches) is made of Lexon construction. The special feature is that it adjusts to beaker diameters of 6 1/2″ to 7 1/2″ and it adjusts the height of the support stand so it can be used with or without a Magnetic Stirrer/Hot Plate (PN: MSH4000). it’s designed to support our Spiral Contractometer PN: KSC114 for loading a spiral (helix), for calibrating and plating. The stand can be adjusted to center the spiral (helix) on the beaker so as to remain centered throughout the test.
